What Happens When I Register on the Website?
In order to use the “Make Donations” page of the website, a user must register with the website and create a profile which is maintained in the Parent Panel.  During the initial registration, the user is asked to input an e-mail address and to establish a password.  Once registration is established, an individual Parent Panel is created when the user inputs contact information such as a name, address, and phone number(s).  To complete the Parent Panel, the user is asked to select student(s) name(s) from a database or input student(s) name(s) as necessary.  Profiles maintained in the Parent Panel can be revised or updated at anytime by logging in and using the previously established registration e-mail and password.

What Happens When I Make a Donation on the Website?
When making a donation, the user is asked to provide billing and payment information.  The billing information input by the user includes name, address, city, state, zip code, e-mail address and phone number.  The payment information includes credit card number, expiration date, and the card’s security code.  This billing and payment information is not maintained and must be input again by the user when additional donations are made to the Foundation during any future visits to the website.   A summary of donations made per donor, per student is maintained on the website and can be accessed for informational purposes only under the “My Donations” section of the website by the donor using the secure password login.

  • How Does the Foundation Use Personal Information?
First and foremost, the personal information provided by you on this web site will be used in the manner for which it was provided.  That is, to identify the donor and to complete the donation transaction.  In the event there is a discrepancy with your donation, the personal information will be used to contact you and to clear up the discrepancy.  Additional uses of personal information by the Foundation can include the following:
  • Internal reporting purposes -- personal information will be compiled and compared against the school population list in order to streamline names for future mailings and to reduce mailing costs.  Also, donor information is compiled by grade in order to determine where additional resources can be tapped.
  • Subsequent recognition – donor information is compiled and family giving levels are compared against pre-established thresholds under the Sponsor Program.  This information is then used to determine those donors who qualify under the Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels.  From these lists, family names are placed on the Foundation’s Sponsor Program Plaques maintained in the school office.
  • Tax receipt purposes – personal information is downloaded to thank you letters which are sent out to families once a year.  The sole purpose of these letters is that they are to be used by the donor when preparing their individual income taxes forms as evidence of the donor’s charitable donation in accordance with Internal Revenue Service guidelines.
  • Processing of matching funds – when a donor indicates that matching funds are available, their personal information will be used to complete the matching fund administrative procedure as defined by their respective employer(s).
